Motorcycle Passenger Killed in Crash with Pickup

A woman was killed in a motorcycle accident, Sunday, on Highway 101 in San Jose.

The crash occurred at 2:18 p.m. on the southbound lanes of 101 near Highway 85, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident closed down three of the southbound 101 lanes for over an hour.


The woman killed in the accident was a passenger on the motorcycle. The motorcycle and a Toyota pickup truck were removed from the scene.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. CHP officers did not release any further information pending a full investigation.
