A 47-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle accident, on Sunday, when the motorcycle she was passenger on crossed the double-yellow line on a curve and crashed with another motorcycle head-on, according to California Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred when a 43-year-old man driving a 1993 Suzuki Silver, tried to pass slower moving vehicles on Altamont Pass Road, according to a spokesperson for California Highway Patrol.

The driver of the Suzuki struck a 53-year-old man driving a 1999 Harley Davidson, also occupied by the female passenger who was killed in the accident. The driver of the bike was transported to Eden Medical Center, according to CHP.

Officials are still investigating the accident. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the Dublin California Highway Patrol Office.
