For the second time this year, Hasbro issued a recall of one million Easy-Bake Toy Ovens after receiving complaints of small children getting their hands or fingers stuck in the oven opening, causing serious burns and injuries.

Hasbro announced a repair program in February and has since received 249 reports of children getting their fingers or hands caught in the ovens opening.

The reports included: 77 burns, 16 of them were reported as second and third-degree burns. One report included a partial finger amputation of a 5-year-old girl.

Consumers and caregivers should immediately take the recalled Easy-Bake Oven away from children and call Hasbro for instructions on how to return the toy oven.

Ovens sold prior to May 2006 are not included in the recall.
