Back to Basics Iced Tea Makers Recalled for Fire Hazard

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Back to Basics announced a voluntary recall of 10,000 Iced Tea Makers due to a fire hazard posed by components that may fail.

The recalled Iced Tea Makers are Model# IT400. The recall includes makers that have a date code of CA1307 or CA1307-A. The model number can be found on the bottom of the maker and the date code is printed on a small unit, also located on the bottom of the tea maker.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop unplug and stop using the recalled ice tea makers. Back to Basics is offering a free replacement or refund of the recalled products.
