Pedestrian Struck by San Francisco Municipal Railway Bus

A 40-year-old woman is in the hospital following a pedestrian accident this morning, when she was struck by a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus at 7:15 a.m., according to police.

The accident happened at 22nd Avenue and California Street, California Highway Patrol said.

Police report the woman was transported to San Francisco General Hospital. Her current condition and the extent of injuries she suffered in the accident, were not immediately known.

Officials are currently investigating the cause of the accident. A spokesperson for the San Francisco Municipal Railway could not be reached for comment.
